- Ordering at the original Starbucks.
- Nana introduces Nora to her first Pain du Chocolate.
- Pike Place Market. Touristy but, hey, you have to do it. We bought Salmon for the island, local cherries and fruit. We saw the fish fly, our fish actually. He landed safely! We did not see pigs fly.
- Street performers everywhere! Singin’ the blues? Nope, the Eagles!
- Washington and Canadian oysters, fresh seafood lunch for Nana, Nora, Daryn, Robin and Megan. Papa behind the lens.
We played the touristas in Seattle today. Original Starbucks, Pike Place Market but worked in time to get a ticket after being directed to a parking spot by our Pub’s employee. Yes, we saw the fish flying when ordered. Salmon jump but don’t usually fly. We packed our most-expensive-fish-I’ve-ever-bought for the trip to the island tomorrow. Our weather is not looking as nice as I would hope but we will make lemonaide from our lemons if necessary which actually will probably involve sitting and watching the weather and sunrises from our cliffside house sipping wine and eating cheese. Just have to struggle by!!
I’m so jealous———-love Pike’s Market. Weren’t the flying fish great!!!!
